Curriculum Vitae
Betteke Visserman (1951) has been intensively involved in nutritional science since 1968. She studied both regular and complementary nutrition and became a teacher in nutrition and health sciences. Study of oriental nutrition attracted her interest in Chinese medicine.
She graduated as a TuiNa therapist in 1995. In the same year she established her practice for Traditional Chinese Medicine and nutritional therapy, which by 1998 also includes acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Her earlier training and experience as a social worker has also proved to be very beneficial in working with her patients. Since 1998 she works as teacher in nutritional science at the Academy for Chinese Medicine "Qing Bai" in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
