Procedure

In case of chronic or acute disease tailor-made individual dietary recommendations will be given according to Traditional Chinese Medical diagnosis and the coupled treatment principles. It is of significant importance that the person him/her-SELF will gain insight in his/her own condition, life and eating habits and in the possibilities to change these.

Dietary recommendations are supported with practical indications concerning the use and the preparation of food.

Dietary recommendations are based on traditional Chinese nutrition principles, which give a clear and unique energetic description of food and digestion. The Chinese nutritional science is characterised by an individual approach based on experience, in which human beings are part of and in exchange with the surrounding environment. In addition, the Nutritional approach related to natural health food makes its contribution by indicating the vitality, the wholeness and the purity of food. The connection of the consumer with the environment and his/her responsibility for the individual situation in relation to the environment are also emphasized. Finally the knowledge of modern Western nutrition, based on biochemistry and analysis, is also important because this links-up with the Western way of thinking and provides much important information.
